Live Yoga and 4 Cats Studio combine!

Check out this NEW collaborative project between 4Cats Arts Studio White Rock and Live Yoga!

Artful Yoga provides Art for young ones and Yoga for their parents! Drop off your tot (ages 3-5) for an amazing 4Cats Art Class and then go over to the studio next door for a 1 hour Hatha Yoga class!

Spring Sessions are held on Wednesdays from 1:00pm – 2:00pm

New South Surrey art exhibition showcases Canadian work

The Upstairs Gallery at White Rock’s Seventh Heaven Art & Beauty Salon in Crescent Beach is renowned for their exhibitions that celebrate Canada’s artistic talent.

They are currently showcasing the work of acrylic painter Yvonne Maximchuk of Echo Bay, who returns with with a series of “Westcoast Scenes”, accompanied by an ongoing landscape exhibit from Ronald Glowe entitled “Earth and Sea” collection, that depicts scenes from the prairies where he hails to the shores of beautiful British Columbia where he now lives.

Working directly from nature as well as in studio at her home in Echo Bay on Gilford Island, Yvonne Maximchuk has since painted a fresh series of large acrylics depicting the web of life that is the west coast. Her work will be on exhibit at the Upstairs Gallery artist collective in Seventh Heaven Bio Salon in Crescent Beach over the coming months.

New to White Rock artist Ronald Glowe, lifetime painter of Canadian landscape originally hails from Winnipeg. Ronald’s works are equally masterful depictions of prairie to sea and mountains in between.

The Upstairs Gallery is open on Sundays from 11.00-4.00pm until April 14 for public viewing. Come celebrate and honour these artists in our midst!
